Contraindications & WarningsSolanum vanheurckii is considered potentially toxic, particularly its unripe fruits and leaves, due to the presence of steroidal glycoalkaloids. Internal consumption is strongly contraindicated and can lead to severe gastrointestinal upset, neurological symptoms, and other adverse effects. Avoid use during pregnancy, lactation, and in individuals with pre-existing health conditions. Consult a qualified expert before any use.
Cultivation NotesThis species thrives in tropical climates, preferring well-drained soil and conditions ranging from full sun to partial shade. It can be propagated from seed.
