Description
This plant is a shrub, typically growing to 5 feet tall, with stems covered in stellate green pubescence. Its alternate, oblanceolate, lobed leaves bear spines along the veins on both surfaces. It produces solitary or racemose, axillary, pendant white flowers and spiny, ovate, dark green to yellow fruits.
