Natural HabitatNative to Brazil, specifically Bahia state, Ituaçu municipality, found along the access trail to Morro do Ouro, from its base to the summit (1250-1550 m elevation). It thrives in 'Campo Sujo' and 'Campo Seco' types of Cerrado vegetation, including rupestrian fields on the summit plateau.
