Description

Erycibe hellwigii is a high climber characterized by pale brown, brittle branchlets. Its leaves are nitid (shiny) and green on both sides. The plant produces slightly compressed fruits, approximately 30 x 21 mm in size, each containing one large seed, encased by a fruiting calyx with five rounded, ciliate lobes covered in red hairs.
