Natural HabitatFound in Bolivia, specifically in Cochabamba, Chapare, near El Choclotol and Rio Espirito Santo, approximately 20 km above Villa Tunari, at an altitude of 1000m. It grows in a steep-sided valley, formerly tropical rainforest, now degraded with cultivation and secondary scrub, observed as a single colony on a steep scrubby bank by a road.
