Natural HabitatThis plant thrives in gently undulating reddish silty sand over limestone, which outcrops on rises. It is found in depressions that are mainly grassy with Acacia species and large flat bushes of Cadaba glandulosa. On the rises, it grows among Euphorbia robecchii and thickets of Lannea greenwayi.

Description

Astripomoea nogalensis is a little-branched shrub, growing to approximately 1 meter tall. It is often found in an almost leafless state. Its flowers feature a corolla that is very pale lilac, nearly white, with a distinct dark purple center.
