Description

This species is a tree, growing to approximately 6 meters tall with a trunk diameter of 16 cm at breast height. Its trunk is notably covered in long, slender prickles measuring 1 to 1.5 cm. The plant produces purple flowers with yellow anthers and a bright green stigma, followed by green fruits.
