Ingestion can cause severe anticholinergic poisoning, leading to delirium, hallucinations, tachycardia, hyperthermia, coma, and death. It is not safe for internal use. Avoid during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and in individuals with glaucoma, heart conditions, or prostate enlargement. Interacts dangerously with anticholinergic drugs.
